It is with great effort that these titles have been tracked down and either donated to us, or purchased by volunteers,
especially the independent artist's albums, so please, if you like the music you hear on this site, consider buying the music from the musicians to support them.

The various streams provide different kinds of audio at different rates.
Tolkien Music Radio Stream #1 - 64 Kbps - "Crunchy"
Rock, Pop, Funk, Punk, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, and other "harder" styles of Tolkien inspired music
Tolkien Music Radio Stream #2 - 64 Kbps - "Mellow"
Classical, Baroque, Folk, New Age, Trance, Meditative, and other "softer" styles of Tolkien inspired music
Tolkien Audio Radio Stream #3 - 24 Kbps - "Talk"
Tolkien-related talk shows, old BBC Radio broadcasts, other radio broadcasts, audio books, recordings of J.R.R. Tolkien himself, etc.
Tolkien Music Radio Stream #4 - 64 Kbps - "Variety"
All the music. This includes all music from Streams #1 and #2 and some others that didn't quite fit the format of the other 2 streams. This is also often enabled for requests that you can send via the web interface, or through the IRC (chatroom) at:

The Tolkien Google logo petition is an attempt which hopes to convince Google that a J.R.R. Tolkien-themed logo should be present on January 3rd, his birthday.
